Vinciness returns for a second edition.

Written by Jon Hotten, this paperback edition brings the cult cricket essay back into print, with new cover artwork and typesetting by Fisher Classics. It is a small, considered book about James Vince, batting, beauty, frustration and the strange pull of cricket.

Pre-sales are now open while the cover art and book design are completed.

Full product description

Vinciness is a cricket book, but only just.

Written by Jon Hotten, it moves through James Vince, batting, beauty, failure and the feeling of watching a player whose game seems to promise something just out of reach. It is about cricket as style, form and frustration. The sort of book that belongs beside the game, rather than simply explaining it.

This second edition is being designed and typeset by Fisher Classics, with new cover artwork created in the studio. A paperback that feels like an object worth keeping: readable, tactile, visually considered and true to the writing inside.

Pre-sales are open while the cover art and typesetting are completed. Orders will be fulfilled once the second edition has been finalised and printed.
