Fisher Classics is a fictional publishing house that celebrates sporting greats of all ages and skill levels. It's aim is to create iconic and bespoke wall art for sports fans of all ages.
It began as a design project by Melbourne based designer and digital producer Dan Toomey.
Dan created Fisher Classics in the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020 as a passion project and quickly gained interest in Australia, India and the UK with his First XI series of Cricketers.
Fisher Classics are featured in The Cricketer Magazine and have glowing reviews from Marnus Labushcagne, Tim Paine and Gideon Haigh.
Through 2021 Fisher Footy was added to the Fisher Classics stable and further requests for custom work have come in and solutions provided for Football Clubs, Premiership winners, Auskick legends and Footy nerds remembering past champions.
Each Fisher Classic work has a hand made element to it; from the textures created, to the ink spots on cards. Every work is created with consideration and care.
Like the sound the willow makes on leather or the thump of a well timed bump in the midfield, Fisher Classics are works that you feel as well as see.
