What is Fisher Classics?
Where sport meets story — and design brings it to life.
Fisher Classics is a creative studio that treats sport as culture.
We help sporting brands, institutions, and fans turn their stories into lasting cultural artefacts — through design, storytelling, and collectible artwork.
We’re not a mass-market print store.
And we’re not a traditional art gallery either.
We sit in the space where sport’s emotion, nostalgia, and identity meet design and creativity.
Every Fisher Classics piece is created in-house with intent and meaning.
Our aim isn’t just to decorate walls — it’s to preserve the emotion, memory, and mythology of sport in a way that feels personal, stylish, and timeless.
From a club’s centenary artwork to a cricket publication’s visual identity, or an athlete’s career tribute — every project begins with story and ends with something built to last.

What We Do
From brand identities and editorial design to collectible artworks and content campaigns, Fisher Classics partners with clubs, leagues, athletes, and media makers to create work that connects.
Some projects live as limited-edition prints; others as podcast branding, heritage kits, auction pieces, or Olympic tributes.
We’re not bound to one medium — because the best stories aren’t either.
Rooted in nostalgia, shaped by design thinking, and made in collaboration with athletes, writers, and collectors — Fisher Classics turns sporting memory into something you can see, hold, and share.
About Fisher Classics

Fisher Classics began during Melbourne’s 2020 lockdowns — a creative outlet by designer and digital producer Dan Toomey.
What started with a love of cricket and design quickly found an audience. The debut First XI series struck a chord with fans in Australia, India, and the UK, capturing the spirit of the game through a handcrafted, vintage aesthetic.
Since then, Fisher Classics has created centenary artworks for clubs, visual identities for modern sports media, and bespoke pieces for athletes and collectors who want to celebrate their careers and stories with artistry and intent.
Fisher Classics also shapes the visual identity of Cricket Et Al, a contemporary cricket media brand known for its daily Test match coverage and distinct editorial design. From cover art to podcast assets, our design work helps bring their storytelling to life.
Every Fisher Classics piece carries a handmade signature — layered textures, type drawn from match-day programmes and cigarette cards, and a design sensibility that honours the craft and emotion of sport itself.
“I love hearing the stories behind custom pieces. They’re always personal — things you won’t hear on Fox Footy or the nightly news. These are emotional works, and I’m honoured people trust me with their memories.”
— Dan Toomey, Founder, Fisher Classics
